David Ragg has created a classic-looking bouquet in which the two-toned Dianthus from Trendy Dianthus is playing the leading role. The tightly-bound Dianthus gives the illusion that you are looking at one big Dianthus. The carnation, also called Dianthus, is wonderfully complemented by the trailing Amaranthus and the two kinds of grass which pop out: the Chasmanthium and Panicum virgatum. The choice of rustique materials and colours combined with the old-fashioned vase gives a vintage feel to the design.
