Evelien van de Sande shares a fun feathery idea to brighten up your Easter table with the amazingly bright yellow Alstroemeria 'Tonatiuh'. Firstly, she drilled holes into the top slice of wood. These holes have the exact size of the tubes to put the Alstroemeria in. Quail eggshells are glued to the top slice of wood to create an extra decorative level to the design. To connect the idea of the eggs with the rest of the design, Evelien attached feathers to the stems of the Alstroemeria with some rustic wire. It gives a wonderful spring and Easter look to the design. The design is placed on top of another slice of wood as a finishing touch. It almost looks like a bird's nest!
