Cut Hydrangea are such rich flowers that they look amazing in a mono bouquet. Which doesn't mean you can't make it extra special. How about presenting these beauties in a frame made out of hundreds of wooden sticks? It's not as complicated to create as it might sound. Pim van den Akker shows you how to make such a frame in this video. Enjoying the cut Hortensia for as long as possible is easy if you know what to do:

- use a clean vase, fill with fresh water and add flower food

- remove most of the green leaves

- cut the stems with a sharp knife in a 45 degrees angle zo they can absorb as much water as possible

- keep your bouquet away from direct sunlight, drafts and your fruit bowl
