Sandersonia

Sandersonia is a cheerful and exclusive flower with a tropical appearance. Sandersonia is a cousin of the Gloriosa flower.

Just like the Gloriosa it’s a climbing plant and it belongs to the Liliaceae family.
The Sandersonia family only counts one type: the Sandersonia aurantica.

This cute flower grows from a tuber.
The plant originates from South Africa.
In winter you have to protect the plant! It isn’t able to survive the frost, so take the plant inside or place it somewhere with a temperature between 5 and 15 degrees.
