Lisianthus in the ‘Linnenkamer’ by Roos van Unen

How to put a flower in the spotlights? By working with strong contrasts! Roos van Unen (Flower Factor) will show inventive work with black floral foam and Lisianthus at the Dutch floral art show ‘Bloemkunst 2018’.
In the ‘Linnenkamer’, she will exhibit unique objects made from Black Ideal floral foam from OASIS®. No less than fifteen (!) extraordinary varieties of Lisianthus will shine in the spotlights.
Each piece will be placed in a spotlight in an otherwise dark space. Roos van Unen: “I want the visitors to feel as if they are in a museum. That why I have created a room in which there’s peace and no distraction, so they can completely focus on just one design and one variety of Lisianthus at the time. It allows you to take in the design and elegance of the flowers, without other elements calling your attention. Simplicity and contrast, these were my focal points for this floral installation.”
The ‘Linnenkamer’ is one of the rooms in ‘Kasteel Groeneveld’ that is transformed into a floral art exhibition during Bloemkunst 2018. Bloemkunst 2018 can be visited from Saturday 15 september until Sunday 23 september.
