Ornithogalum

Ornithogalum is a really strong flower! It's a flower that's often used in bouquets.

The flower is composed of star shaped little flowers with a black center.

Most species are native to southern Europe and small Asia.
The Ornithogalum grows from a bulb that isn’t made to survive the frost.

Therefore it is important that you protect them in winter against frost.

Previously the Ornithogalum family was assigned to the Hyacinth family.
In the garden it’s a very easy plant.
